12 Conversations with Thilo Heinzmann is a suite of movements for string quartet, performed for the first time in London in 2016, before being reworked for Echo Collective with Jóhannsson’s approval. Two years after the passing of Icelandic composer Jóhann Jóhannsson, his extraordinary body of work continues to reveal its riches through not only extensive recordings (rare versions, re-releases, box sets) but also concerts.
